Decent savings on Legoland tickets

I was looking for Legoland Windsor tickets and found Picniq offering a 'kids go free' deal if you bought adult tickets, which worked out really well for my family. The price was definitely better than anywhere else I checked, and certainly cheaper than buying on the day. I was a bit wary since it was my first time using the site, but the checkout was straightforward. The e-tickets landed in my inbox pretty fast too, no issues there. It felt like I got a good deal overall and saved a fair bit of money, so I'd consider using them again for other attractions.

Good price, slightly slow support

I bought family tickets for Alton Towers through Picniq a few weeks ago. The 'family bundle discount' was pretty good, saved us about 25% compared to what we would have paid at the gate, which is solid. Tickets arrived in my inbox within an hour, so that was quick. We had a small issue with one of the dates when we tried to book a specific ride slot directly with the park, so I contacted their customer service. It took them about 36 hours to get back to me, which felt a little long, but they sorted it out eventually. Overall, it was a positive experience and good value, just wish support was a bit faster.

Quick tickets for Chessington

Needed Chessington World of Adventures tickets fast. Picniq had a deal. Bought them, got them via email in minutes. No fuss. Worked at the gate. Simple.

Just booked Legoland tickets through Picniq for half term. Fingers crossed it all goes smoothly. Anyone used them recently for theme parks?

R Rahul87 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer

Yeah, I used them for Thorpe Park last month. Tickets came through email almost instantly and scanned fine at the gate. No issues at all.

A AmitM 1 month ago

Mine were gate ready too for Chessington. No printing needed.

P PriyaK 1 month ago

Good to hear! Was worried about gate-ready stuff.

S Sneha 1 month ago

I used them for a safari park last summer. Everything was fine, but I did have to contact customer service about changing the date because of weather. They were a bit slow to respond, but got it sorted eventually.

P PriyaK 1 month ago

Oh, that's good to know about date changes. Hope I don't need it!

Following. Thinking of booking Alton Towers for August and Picniq seems like a good deal.

Are picniq tickets actually legit? Seen some crazy deals but always a bit wary with these discount sites.

S Shane 2 months ago

Yeah, they're fine. Used them a few times for West End shows and always got in no problem. They get official tickets.

N Nina Whitfield 2 months ago

Totally legit. They sell huge amounts so they get bulk discounts, that's how they get the cheaper prices. Don't worry.

My NHS discount code isn't working on Picniq for a West End show. Has anyone else had issues with the NHS or Blue Light Card offers lately?

M MarkT 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer

I used my Blue Light Card for a London Dungeon ticket last week, and it worked fine for me. Make sure you're entering it in the correct box at checkout. Sometimes it's a bit hidden.

S SarahJ 2 weeks ago

Yeah, I've tried all the boxes. So frustrating!

L LisaP 2 weeks ago

Are you sure it applies to West End shows? Some codes are attraction-specific.

G GamerRaj 2 weeks ago

Could be that specific show. I know some of the popular ones have limited discount availability. Maybe check for other dates or different shows?

C ChloeB 2 weeks ago

I had a similar problem with a student discount not applying. Ended up contacting their customer service, and they said sometimes certain events are excluded. Took them a couple of days to get back to me though.

S SarahJ 2 weeks ago

Hmm, might have to do that then. Thanks for the heads up on response time.

What if my plans change for a booking? Can you change the date of a ticket or are they strict about that?

I Ivy Torres 1 month ago

It depends on the specific ticket/attraction. Some are flexible if you contact them in advance, but others are fixed. Check the terms for your specific booking before you commit.

T Tara B. 1 month ago

I had to change a date once. You have to contact their customer service, I think. Not always possible though, especially if it's super close to the date.

Is there a newsletter discount if I sign up for the first time? Or do they just have flash sales and stuff?

W Wendy 2 months ago

Yeah, I'm pretty sure there's a sign-up bonus when you join their newsletter. Worth doing to get an extra few quid off.

D David Whitfield 2 months ago

I got a small discount when I first signed up, afaik they still do it. Plus you get emails about their flash sales which are pretty good sometimes.

Anyone know if you can use a Blue Light Card on Picniq? Trying to save some extra cash.

J James 2 months ago

Yep, they do a Blue Light Card discount. Just look for it on their site or try to apply it at checkout.

D Dan M. 2 months ago

I think you can! I used my NHS discount there once, which is usually part of the Blue Light scheme. Should work.

hey, trying to book for Alton Towers for next month. Do I need to print the tickets or can I just show them on my phone at the gate?

C Cleo Nguyen 2 months ago

Nah, most of them are gate-ready e-tickets. Just flash your phone.

S Steve S. 2 months ago

Yeah, I booked something for Chessington last year and didn't need to print. They send them to your email, super easy.

Thinking of getting a family bundle for a safari park. Do they usually have a 'kids go free' type deal or is it more like a percentage off?

W Wendy Kim 2 months ago

It varies, sometimes it's kids go free, other times it's like a set family bundle price that works out cheaper. You usually save a decent amount either way though, like 10-40% off compared to the gate price.

B Ben Kim 2 months ago

Yeah, they do those specific bundles. I've seen 'kids go free' deals around school holidays, like Easter or summer. Keep an eye out then!
